Benjamin Sawyer

Benjamin Sawyer, Ph.D, is Master Instructor of History at Middle Tennessee State University, a professional speaker, a narrator, and co-host of The Road to Now on SiriusXM’s POTUS 124.

Ben has taught history at the university level for over a decade, is a former Fullbright Fellow in Russia (2011-2012) and has published on the exchange in ideas between the US and Russia in the 20^th century.

Along the way, Ben decided to start trying his hand at standup comedy. He thought his teaching experience would make him a better comic. He was wrong. But it turns out that learning standup made him a better teacher.
