Dr. Jonathan Greer

When he’s not saving lives in the emergency room, Dr. Jonathan Greer is pouring his heart out through 88 keys. A Nashville-based ER physician, Jonathan’s musical journey began over 20 years ago in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and it hasn’t stopped since.

After moving to Tennessee during his final year of high school, he went on to study at Vanderbilt University majoring in Chemistry & Spanish while minoring in Corporate Strategy and later completed medical school at the University of Louisville and his residency at the University of Virginia in Emergency Medicine. But music has always been his heartbeat. His parents enrolled him in piano lessons as a child—a gift that became a lifelong passion.

Now, with over 50 U.S. copyrights to his name and a catalog of original compositions, Jonathan brings a unique blend of precision and improvisation to the stage. In this year’s Nashville’s Got Talent, he’s not just playing music—he’s telling a story of healing, hustle, and harmony.
