Welcome to The Store: Your Guide to Shopping with Dignity

In the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, lies a beacon of hope and support for those navigating the challenges of food insecurity. The Store, envisioned and founded by Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley, stands as a testament to the community’s resolve to offer a hand in times of need, providing not just food, but dignity, love, and a sense of belonging to everyone who walks through its doors.

Who We Are

The Store is more than a place to get free groceries; it’s a space where individuals and families can choose from a variety of healthy, fresh, and nutritious foods, including fresh produce, healthy meats, milk, and eggs, without the worry of cost. Our shelves are stocked to ensure that everyone, regardless of dietary needs or preferences, finds what they need to nourish their bodies and spirits.

Eligibility & How to Shop

Everyone facing food insecurity is eligible to shop at The Store. We have two shopping options depending on the circumstances and level of need:

Emergency Shopping– Individuals and families that are experiencing an unexpected food shortage or who are experiencing a temporary crisis, such as an unexpected job loss or loss of income, are eligible to come shop at The Store for a one-time shopping trip, as they work to get back on their feet.

Bi-weekly Shopping– Individuals and families at 200% of the poverty line or below, are eligible for our bi-weekly shopping program which typically lasts for one year.  (This program is currently full but we are actively seeking additional funding to expand enrollment.)

To express interest in enrolling in our bi-weekly shopping program,
as space becomes available, fill out this form.

For the emergency shopping program, there’s no need for appointments; simply visit us during our operating hours. To help us assist you better, bring a form of identification and, if possible, proof of income. All programs are subject to availability and do fill up during times of high demand.
